Jewish Migration

As a Jew, especially after the Tree of Life Synagogue Shooting in 2018, I was given the chance to create an Infographic about a topic I cared deeply about, so I chose my people, our plights, and our migration throughout the world and the history that came with it.

During this time I learned a lot more about how my history relates to world History than I ever did in a history class. I tried to boil it down to show the key migration periods throughout history.

However I was also faced with the disheartening reality that we still have not recovered from the Shoah. A fact which I couldn't exclude from this infographic as I think it underpins an unfortunate truth that not many people realize:

Our migrations are often caused by a refusal of our host countries to accept our existence and allow us to live in peace. And so we are faced with a choice, Flee or Die.

This infographic was not actually sponsored by the World Jewish Congress, that was just a part of the project, as was redesigning their logo.
